Alabama EDGE Defender Out for Season
Alabama is enjoying the 24-hour rule following a 42-13 beat down of the LSU Tigers, but the victory is bittersweet with the latest injury news on Sunday following the victory.
According to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports, Alabama edge rusher Que Robinson will miss the remainder of the season with an upper-body injury suffered against the LSU Tigers.
Robinson was listed as a starter at Wolf in Kane Wommack's defense to start the season. He filled in for redshirt freshman Qua Russaw when he missed time due to a lower-body injury suffered in Alabama's victory over Wisconsin.
Robinson was the leader in sacks for the Crimson Tide with four on the season, adding 23 total tackles, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery for Alabama in 2024.
He is a fifth-year senior, and one of five players on Alabama's roster who hold a national championship ring. Robinson was a redshirt freshman in 2020 when Alabama went undefeated and won the College Football Playoff National Championship.
Robinson has appeared in 27 games during his Alabama career, totaling 30 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.
This loss for Alabama is even bigger with the uncertainty around Keanu Koht's future at Alabama. Koht did not travel with the Crimson Tide to Baton Rouge after appearing in almost every game this season for Alabama. Koht did not play against Tennessee.
Alabama will return to action on Saturday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. CT against the Mercer Bears.
