Keegan, a 6-foot-7, 240-pound tight end, committed to the Crimson Tide over Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Rutgers. In his commitment announcement, Keegan said, "Proverbs 16:3 - Roll Tide."

Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." (New International Version).

Keegan held eight total offers, according to 247 Sports, including the Crimson Tide, Boston College, Rutgers, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Buffalo, UConn, and UMass. Alabama offered Keegan on June 14, 2025, after spending the weekend at Alabama's summer camp. His primary recruiter was new Alabama tight ends coach Richard Owens, who the Crimson Tide hired after Bryan Ellis changed positions to Alabama's quarterbacks coach, but Ellis was among the staff members who offered Keegan in 2025.

Keegan is Alabama's fourth commitment in the 2027 recruiting class, joining:

Four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn
Three-star athlete Colt Lumpris
Three-star cornerback Nash Johnson III

He was ranked as a three-star tight end on Rivals before Rivals merged with On3. He does not currently have a star ranking on On3/Rivals or 247 Sports.
