Today, we recognize former Alabama defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson.

Robinson, a 5-star recruit out of Arlington, Texas, was a two-way lineman out of high school, but made the permanent switch to defensive tackle prior to the 2013 season.

His freshman year, Robinson played in every game for the Tide, leading the team in sacks with 5.5, becoming the first true freshman to do so in the Nick Saban era.

Robinson was selected to the pre-season Media Days All-SEC leading up to his sophomore season. Robinson started every game, spearheading a dominant rushing defense for the Tide. Robinson earned an honorable mention on the All-SEC team following the season.

Once again, Robinson started every game for the Tide the following season, leading another elite Alabama front seven. Robinson led the team in quarterback hurries, earning him a spot as a finalist for the Outland Trophy.

Robinson opted to forgo his senior year and enter the 2016 NFL Draft.

The Detroit Lions selected Robinson with the 46th overall pick.

Robinson spent the entirety of his rookie contract in Detroit before signing a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams, where he played a key role in the Rams' super bowl run.

Robinson is now with the New York Giants.
