Alabama Football Student Assistant Passes
Student managers are often the unsung heroes of college football. They do a large amount of work for little to no pay, but the experience and relationships built in the industry are invaluable for a young student who wants to enter the workforce.
The University of Alabama, unfortunately, lost one of its student managers recently.
19-year-old Caden Clay was a student manager with the Crimson Tide. He recently passed away suddenly and tragically. The university and the football program are mourning his passing.
The university put out a statement about Clay's passing, stating, "Alabama mourns the loss of football student manager Caden Clay. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."
No cause of death was given.
Tide 100.9 sends our thoughts and prayers to the team, Caden's friends, and family members during this difficult time.
