The Crimson Tide's linebacker depth took a hit on the final night of the transfer portal, with freshman linebacker Justin Okoronkwo entering the transfer portal right at the buzzer.

Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports was the first to report Okoronkwo's departure.
The rising sophomore played in all 13 of Alabama's games this season, providing valuable depth at inside linebacker and contributing primarily on special teams and in blowout games.
He will have three years of eligibility at his new school.
Okoronkwo saw defensive snaps in just seven games but was on both kickoff and punt units on special teams. He recorded 14 tackles, including 0.5 stops for a loss. The Munich, Germany native signed with Alabama as a three-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class.
Okoronkwo is the third inside linebacker Alabama lost to the transfer portal, with Jeremiah Alexander entering earlier last week and Sterling Dixon entering on Saturday as well.
He is the fourth inside linebacker Alabama has lost overall, with Jihaad Campbell declaring for the NFL draft after Alabama's 19-13 loss to Michigan in the bowl game.
