Previous Meeting 

The Bulldogs traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Sep. 16, and the Crimson Tide absolutely dominated the Bulldogs in the first half. By halftime, the score was 30-7. The Bulldogs were able to get back in the game and make it competitive, but ultimately fell 41-34 to the Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs are currently 1-0 in conference play, while this will be the beginning of conference play for the Crimson Tide. The Bulldogs have been undefeated at home and on the road so far, while the Crimson Tide are 0-1 on the road and 2-5 overall under Year 2 head coach Kalen DeBoer. Additionally, Georgia holds the longest active home winning streak in college football with 33 consecutive wins. The last time the Bulldogs lost at home was in double overtime to South Carolina on Oct.14, 2019.
