Alabama Guard Justin Coleman Announces He’ll Transfer
The first offseason change for the Alabama men's basketball program took place on Wednesday when Justin Coleman announced his intention to transfer.
The sophomore shared the news on Twitter.
The Wenonah standout began the year as a reserve but saw his minutes increase following the injury of Dazon Ingram in December. Coleman started seven games during the season and lead the team in assists per game (3.3) and free throw shooting (89%). He was also fourth on the team in minutes per game (26.2) and points per game (7.8).
Coleman's loss, along with the departure of seniors Retin Obasohan and Arthur Edwards, the Crimson Tide is left with only three true guards on scholarship.
