Alabama Defensive Lineman Kelby Collins Enters Transfer Portal After One Year with Program
The Crimson Tide had a late portal addition last night, with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports reporting that Alabama defensive lineman Kelby Collins has entered the transfer portal, marking the third defensive lineman that has entered the portal from Alabama during this transfer portal cycle.

Collins, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman from Gardendale, Alabama, just finished his junior season with the Crimson Tide. He previously went to Florida for his first two seasons of college football. In his lone season with the Crimson Tide, Collins totaled 10 tackles and two sacks. In his three-year collegiate career, Collins has totaled 39 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble. He's the third defensive line transfer from Alabama this transfer portal cycle, joining former four-star James Smith and former five-star Keon Keeley.
Collins was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, ranked as the 53rd overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, the No. 7 defensive lineman, and the No. 5 player in the state of Alabama, signing with the Gators as a member of their 2023 recruiting class.
Collins is the 19th player to enter the transfer portal from Alabama.
