Tyler Booker, a 4-star offensive tackle product from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, announced his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide Friday evening.

Booker has been called DJ Fluker-esque by the likes of Rodney Orr, standing 6'5"-325lbs. Andrew Ivins of 247Sports agreed in his analysis of the Booker, saying he is the vocal leader of IMG and is "the kind of player that likes to play to the whistle."

“Their commitment to greatness from top to bottom,” Booker told BamaOnline. “From the training staff to the nutritionist to the coaching staff, everybody is committed to excellence, everybody is committed to greatness.”

According to recruiting analyst Hank South, Booker is close friends with 2021 5-star tackle prospect JC Latham, who also attended IMG Academy. Between that friendship and the addition of offensive line coach Doug Marrone, Booker decided he would be taking his talents to Tuscaloosa.

Booker has primarily lined up at right tackle last year, but could move to left with Latham in T-Town. Ivins continues in his analysis praising Booker's run blocking ability but conceding there's room for growth in the passing game.

Booker ranks as the 5th offensive tackle in the nation, 8th player in Florida and 39th-ranked player overall in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite.
