Alabama Lands Commitment from Second 2027 Player
Alabama's 2027 recruiting class is picking up steam, albeit the class still has a couple of years before they put pen to paper.
Despite the time period between now and Early Signing Day in December 2026, Alabama has still landed two commitments in that recruiting class.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, Alabama has landed a commitment from 2027 edge rusher JaBarrius Garror.
Garror chose the Crimson Tide over Auburn, LSU, and Michigan. Garror also held offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Florida State, Tennessee, and Oregon, among others.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect is an in-state commitment for Alabama, attending Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama. Garror is the second commitment Alabama has picked up from Vigor High School since Kalen DeBoer was hired, with Micah DeBose committing to Alabama on June 22. DeBose later announced his transfer to Theodore High School later in June.
Alabama now has two recruits committed in the 2027 recruiting class. On Tuesday, 2027 linebacker Ba'Roc Willis committed to Alabama.
Garror attended Alabama's "Cold Summer" Cookout during the final weekend of July.
