Alabama Lands Two Freshmen All-American

It's two names Alabama fans are already familiar with.

Ryan Williams reclassified from the 2025 recruiting class to the 2024 recruiting class and signed with Alabama in February. He joined the team in May and took the field by storm. Despite arriving later than guys like Caleb Odom and Bubba Hampton, Williams could make an impact early in what is supposed his senior season for the Saraland Spartans.

Zabien Brown took Tuscaloosa by storm when he arrived in December for Rose Bowl practice. After the depletion of the Tide's secondary via the NFL draft and transfer portal, Brown was thrust into the starting lineup early, beginning the annual A-Day scrimmage opposite USC transfer Domani Jackson.

Despite the addition of Wake Forest transfer DaShawn Jones and a hand injury around Alabama's first scrimmage, Brown has still been working with the first-team defense in spurts during Fall Camp.

Both Williams and Brown are expected to do big things in Tuscaloosa, and it's been recognized by On3 Sports. Ryan Williams and Zabien Brown were both named to Preseason True-Freshmen All-American teams.

Other notable players on the list include Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman, Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, and Nebraska quarterback Dylan Riaola.
