Alabama Leads the League in Coaches Preseason All-SEC Picks
19 Alabama Crimson Tide football players have made the 2022 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team.
The First-Team consists of six Tide starters, Bryce Young, Emil Ekiyor Jr., Will Anderson, Jordan Battle, Eli Ricks, and Henry To'o To'o.
The six Second-Team players include Jahmyr Gibbs, Jermaine Burton, Cam Latu, Dallas Turner, Malachi Moore, and Will Reichard.
Another seven made the Third-Team, including Javion Cohen, Tyler Steen, DJ Dale, JoJo Earle, Brian Branch, Kool-Aid McKinstry, and Justin Eboigbe.
According to the SEC, the Crimson Tide leads the conference in most picks as well as first-team bids.
"Alabama placed a league-leading 19 representatives on the 2022 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference Football Team, the SEC announced on Tuesday," said the SEC. "Eleven schools had at least one First Team All-SEC representative, including a conference-best six from Alabama. All 14 SEC schools were represented on the Preseason All-SEC Team."
