In Alabama's week 8 matchup against the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, Ricks was incredible. Ricks only allowed 1 catch on 10 targets including 5 pass deflections.

Alabama is also starting another streak for Mississippi State as the team that seems to have become the Tide's bounce-back opponent.

Just because Saban is the undisputed best current coach in college football doesn't make him immune to criticism. Not playing Ricks may be a case where he deserves some.
