The media will also vote on who they think will win the SEC and the last six years the media has picked Alabama. The Crimson Tide have also been picked to win the league 10 out of the last 12 years.

The reigning SEC champions are expected to be the odds on favorite to repeat as champions again in 2022 making this the seventh straight year they are projected to win the SEC, as they return eight starters on defense and five on offense.

In 2015 Auburn was surprisingly projected to win the SEC with third year coach Gus Malzahn and quarterback Jeremy Johnson leading the Tiger offense.
