Earlier this season, Alabama defensive lineman Jahiem Oatis announced his intentions to transfer. According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, Alabama linebacker Keanu Koht has also decided to transfer from the University of Alabama.

Koht did not travel with the Crimson Tide to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for Alabama's 42-13 win over the LSU Tigers. He also did not play in Alabama's 52-7 win over the Mercer Bears.

Koht has played in seven games for Alabama so far this season, totaling five tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.

Koht did not travel with Alabama to Tennessee for the Crimson Tide's matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Crimson Tide will rely on Qua Russaw and Yhonzae Pierre to fill the role left by Koht. It is the second departure in Alabama's "Wolf" linebacker room - Que Robinson injured his forearm against the LSU Tigers and was ruled out for the remainder of the season with the injury.

Koht released a statement via his Instagram on his decision to transfer.

Alabama will travel to Norman Oklahoma for a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff with the Sooners on November 23.
