Alabama Makes Final Three for 4-Star Tight End Ahead of Key Official Visits

The Crimson Tide continues to look for tight ends on the recruiting trail, with Alabama making the final three for a four-star in the 2026 recruiting class.

According to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, Langston Hughes tight end Xavier Tiller is down to three schools, and the Crimson Tide is among the finalists.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end from Fairburn, Georgia, is ranked as the No. 11 tight end in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 220 overall prospect.

His finalists include Alabama's cross-state rival and the Tide's first opponent for 2025, Florida State.

He'll visit all three schools officially. Alabama will get the first on May 30, which is already a busy weekend for recruiting visits for the Tide.

Auburn will get the second visit starting on June 6, and Florida State will get Tiller's final trip on June 13.

Tiller has already been to Tuscaloosa once on April 2. He's been to Auburn five times, and his official visit to Florida State will be his first time to Tallahassee.

Tiller had originally committed to Texas A&M in November 2024, but reopened his recruitment midway through February.

As a sophomore in 2023, he caught 25 passes for 352 yards and seven touchdowns, catching passes from Ohio State signee Air Noland. In 2024, he caught 25 passes for 344 yards and three touchdowns.

Alabama offered Tiller in March 2024.
