*Auburn and Mississippi State are Alabama's two permanent rivals in the SEC, meaning the Crimson Tide will play both teams at home and on the road in the same season.

**Arkansas is Alabama's rotational opponent this year, so the Crimson Tide will play both at home and on the road.

 

Two Notes About Alabama's 2026-27 SEC Opponents

Dates are not yet set for Alabama's SEC matchups, but they will be announced at a later date. Alabama will return to Lexington, Kentucky, for a matchup with the Wildcats, Alabama's fifth trip to Rupp Arena under Nate Oats. Alabama holds a 2-2 record on the road against Kentucky under Nate Oats, with a 7-5 overall record against the Wildcats.

 

LSU will return to Tuscaloosa in the first year of Will Wade's return to Baton Rouge after he spent four seasons away from the program. Alabama holds a 7-4 record over the Tigers during Wade's tenure, and Nate Oats is 6-2 against Wade as the head coach of Alabama, with five of those wins coming when Wade was at LSU (the other one was against McNeese State on November 11, 2024.
