The Crimson Tide moved to No. 7 in the AP Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll

Alabama started the season strong with victories over Wake Forest, Memphis, UNC Asheville, Arkansas State, and McNeese State. However, their first road test against then-No. 13 Purdue ended in an 87-78 loss. The Crimson Tide rebounded with a neutral-site win over Illinois in the C.M. Newton Classic and secured two wins in three games at the Players Era Festival.

The Tide’s second road test brought them to Chapel Hill, where they defeated North Carolina 94-79 in the SEC/ACC Challenge, marking an impressive statement victory.

The Tide are a few days away before they return home for a matchup with Creighton. This marks Alabama's first home game in 33 days since their win over McNeese State on November 11th.  Historically, Alabama is 0-3 against the Blue Jays, including last December’s close 85-82 loss in Omaha, Nebraska, where Creighton’s Ryan Kalkbrenner, Baylor Scheierman, and Trey Alexander combined for 61 points. Mark Sears led Alabama with 19 points, while Nick Pringle added 15.

This weekend at 7:30 p.m. CT, head coach Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide aim to reverse their fortunes against Creighton in a home game. Fans can catch the game live on Tide 100.9 FM and 1230 AM WTBC.
