The Crimson Tide fell slightly in the polls as we get closer to the final week of the SEC regular season. Alabama went 1-1 in matchups last week, falling on the road to top-15 Missouri 110-98 in the midweek before dominating Kentucky back in Coleman Coliseum to return to the win column, 96-83.

Despite the loss, Alabama guard Mark Sears showed out in the two games, scoring 30 points in back-to-back games. Sears is the first SEC player with back-to-back 30-point performances this season.

The big victory at home was not enough to stop the Crimson Tide from dipping slightly in the latest AP and Coaches Poll, released on Monday following another exciting week of college basketball action.
