Alabama Baseball Headed Back to Texas for Round Rock Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama Baseball is headed back to Texas, competing in the 2027 Round Rock Classic, participating in an in-season tournament for the fourth consecutive season. The 2027 rendition of the Round Rock Classic will be the eighth annual.

The Crimson Tide will be joined by Texas Tech, Texas State, and Louisiana Tech in the four-team field, competing at Dell Diamond, the home of the Texas Rangers Triple-A Affiliate, the Round Rock Express.

Alabama holds a 12-3 record against Louisiana Tech, but lost the last meeting in 2021, when the Bulldogs took down Alabama 10-8 in the Ruston Regional.

The matchups against Texas State and Texas Tech will be the first in program history.
