News that Nick Saban didn't want to hear came early this morning when he learned that two player had been arrested on drug possession and weapons charges.

According to Bleacher Report, junior offensive lineman Cam Robinson and defensive back Laurence "Hootie" Jones were arrested in Monroe, Louisiana on possession and weapons charges.

According to the Monroe Police Department, the two Bama players were approached by officers while parked in a vehicle after hours. After a search, marijuana and two handguns, believed to be stolen, were seized.

Robinson is charged with illegal possession of stolen firearms, a felony. His bond has been set at $750.

Jones is being held for illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of narcotics and misdemeanor possession of a controlled/dangerous substance. His bond information was not available.

Both men were booked in the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.
