Alabama's QB room was very crowded with the addition of Austin Mack late on Thursday night.

Now the Crimson Tide signal-caller meetings will have one less top prospect in the room.

Alabama freshman QB Julian Sayin has entered the transfer portal according to On3 Sports.

Sayin was the top-ranked quarterback from the 2024 recruiting class and the number three overall player. He enrolled early with the Crimson Tide and was with the team for Rose Bowl practice in Pasadena, California. His first day of classes on campus aligned with the Wednesday that former head coach Nick Saban announced his retirement from coaching.

The prospect from Carlsbad High School will have every option available to him while he is in the transfer portal.

Alabama's QB room is still talented, with Jalen Milroe returning after finishing sixth in the Heisman Trophy voting last season, and Ty Simpson and Dylan Lonergan returning. Alabama also added four-star transfer quarterback Austin Mack to the room.
