Adams was listed as a co-starter on punt return on the Alabama depth chart, provided before each game this season. Adams was also listed as the No. 5 wide receiver in the Alabama offense.

Adams previously suffered an arm injury against South Florida, missing Alabama's game against Wisconsin with the injury. Adams returned to the lineup against Georiga with a brace on his elbow.

Adams suffered a lower-body injury against Missouri during ALabama's homecoming 34-0 win and could be seen wearing crutches with his leg in a wrap on the sideline following the victory.

Adams had contributed six catches for 94 yards on the season for the Crimson Tide, with his largest production coming against the South Carolina Gamecocks, where he recorded two catches for 57 yards.

Adams had returned 11 punts for 58 yards on the season as the starting punt returner for the Crimson Tide.
