Scott was a consensus four-star wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class, ranked as the No. 4 player in the state of Pennsylvania and the No. 48 wide receiver in the class. He originally chose the Crimson Tide over the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Auburn Tigers, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Texas A&M Aggies.

Scott saw minimal action during his true freshman season in 2024, but did appear in four games for the Crimson Tide, most notably, in the Reliaquest Bowl against the Michigan Wolverines. In that game, Scott caught one pass for nine yards and took an end-around handoff 28 yards against Michigan. He redshirted after the 2024 season.

In 2025, he appeared in 15 games and made three starts for the Crimson Tide. Scott ended the 2025 season with 11 receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. His Alabama career ends with 16 total receptions for 158 yards and three touchdowns, and one rush for 28 yards.

Scott is the fifth wide receiver to enter the transfer portal from Alabama and the 13th overall player to do so thus far.
