The SEC has released its Preseason All-SEC Teams and preseason predictions, and the Crimson Tide had two players representing Alabama on the Preseason All-SEC Teams.

Labaron Philon Jr. was named Preseason All-SEC First Team, while Aden Holloway was named Preseason All-SEC Third-Team.

Philon, a returning sophomore to Alabama, is the sixth player the Crimson Tide has had named Preseason First-Team All-SEC under current Alabama head coach Nate Oats, joining:

John Petty (2021)
Jaden Shackleford (2022)
Jahvon Quinerly (2022)
Grant Nelson (2024)
Mark Sears (2025)

Last season as a starter for the Crimson Tide, Philon averaged 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 45.2% from the floor and 31.5% from three-point range. He was named an SEC All-Freshman Team honoree for the 2024-25 season.

Aden Holloway transferred to Alabama before the 2024-25 season and returns for his junior year of college basketball. In his first season with the Crimson Tide, Holloway averaged 11.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. He led the SEC in games with double-digit points with 24 games, and led Alabama in threes made in 11 games last season.

Alabama was predicted to finish fourth in the SEC Preseason poll, behind reigning national champion Florida, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Tennessee Volunteers.
