Nashville, Tenn. - The Alabama Crimson Tide returned to the win column in the SEC tournament (Alabama's first SEC tournament win since 2023) in a smashing victory over the Kentucky Wildcats, 99-70. Freshman superstar Labaron Philon led the way for the Crimson Tide with 21 points.

Nate Oats asked two young stars, Mouhamed Dioubate and Jarin Stevenson, to step up if Alabama is to win a championship this postseason. Both players heeded the call from their head coach, with Dioubate scoring 13 points while leading the Tide with eight rebounds and Stevenson scoring 16 points while leading Alabama in three-pointers made (three).

While the Tide's typical superstar, Mark Sears, had a quieter night than he is used to, Sears still lit up the stat box with 13 points and a team-leading four assists.
