After an undefeated week in Hawaii, Alabama softball returns to conference play this weekend ranked No. 3 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll and No. 4 in the USA Today/NFCA poll.

The Crimson Tide went 6-0 at last week’s Rainbow Wahine Classic, improving to a program-record 31-0 to start the season. It marks just the seventh time in NCAA Division-I softball history a team has won its first 31 games to start a season and the first for a Southeastern Conference team. Alabama is the highest-ranked SEC team in both polls, joined in the top 10 by Tennessee (5/5), Florida (6/7) and LSU (8/6).

This week, Alabama returns to SEC play with a three-game road series at Texas A&M (16-11, 1-5 SEC). Action opens Friday, March 22 at 6 p.m. CT, continues Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. CT and concludes Sunday, March 24 at 1 p.m. CT.
