The Crimson Tide Sports Network will broadcast every Alabama softball game in 2013, the network announced Wednesday. The new radio home for Crimson Tide softball in Tuscaloosa will be 99.1 WDGM, with select games airing on additional CTSN affiliate stations throughout the state.

"We are so excited about the extended reach that we will have this season on the radio in the state of Alabama,” Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy said. “Chad Haynie is an up and coming radio personality who is very familiar with our program. He will do an outstanding job."

Chad Haynie will call all the action on the diamond for CTSN. Haynie will be in his fourth year broadcasting Crimson Tide softball, after spending the previous three seasons with WVUA-FM.

“I am humbled and honored to call Alabama softball for the Crimson Tide Sports Network,” Haynie said. “Coach Murphy and his staff run one of the finest programs in collegiate athletics and I am blessed to get to work with them on a professional level and am looking forward to for years to come."

Softball broadcasts will begin 10 minutes before first pitch and include comments from head coach Patrick Murphy. After each game, the crew will break down game statistics and preview the next matchup. The games will also be available on The Duece 99.1 WDGM FM 991wdgm.com
