Alabama Spring Update Show

Join Tide 100.9 this weekend for the Alabama Spring Update Show. The voice of the Crimson Tide, Eli Gold will host discussions with Greg Byrne, Nick Saban and Brad Bohannon from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday to talk about the spring season and the state of Alabama Athletics.

Gold was on The Game with Ryan Fowler this week to discuss the show and how things have been changing in the athletic landscape. Gold spoke about the cancellation of spring practice and A-Day, last season's disappointing finish and Saban's ability to adapt with the times. Gold will be joined by his game day broadcast partners John Parker Wilson and Rashad Johnson on the program, both will be able to give a unique perspective to the current circumstances as they played under Saban at the beginning of his tenure. Wilson can offer in depth perspective on Bohannon's baseball team's frustration, as his youngest brother Peyton Wilson was a contributor on this year's team.

Gold admitted on The Game that Saban's biggest moment was likely the moment he stepped off the plane in Tuscaloosa originally in 2007. He looked back on what the extraordinary coach has meant to the program and university over time.
