Alabama Will Play Auburn in SEC Tournament at 11AM on Friday

The first matchup between in-state rivals and top-5 teams Alabama and Auburn will have to wait a little bit longer.

Storms brought heavy rains and lightning through Starkville on Thursday night and forced a postponement for this highly-anticipated quarterfinal game. The game will start at 11AM on Friday morning before the semifinals are held that afternoon.

Alabama (45-11) is ranked 4th in the country while Auburn (46-9) is ranked 5th, but the Tigers were a half-game better in conference play. The difference ended up being a canceled game against Tennessee earlier this month that allowed them both to finish ahead of the Crimson Tide.
