Bracketology Update: Same Seed, New Region for Alabama
With Alabama's walk-off victory over Auburn in overtime on Saturday, the Crimson Tide has shuffled in ESPN's latest bracketology update from Joe Lunardi.

The Crimson Tide secured a big victory over Auburn on Saturday, March 8, to wrap up the regular season. The next game Alabama plays will come on Friday, March 14, in the SEC tournament. It is now do or die time for the Crimson Tide, with the next loss Alabama suffers potentially being the season's final game if Alabama falls in the NCAA tournament.
The tournament will not be easy, as the 64 best teams in the country will make the big dance in the race to San Antonio for the Final Four. After making its program-first Final Four last season, Alabama will have a tough road if Lunardi's latest projection comes to fruition for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama is currently slated as a two-seed. No rise despite the biggest win of the season on Saturday. However, the conversation of a one-seed in the tournament has reopened thanks to Sears' last-second shot. For now, Alabama's two-seed is projected to be in the Midwest region with the Houston Cougars as the one-seed.
Here is how the bracket is currently projected in the Midwest region:
1. Houston vs. 16. Omaha
8. Mississippi State vs. 9 Creighton
5. Arizona vs. 12. Ohio State/Oklahoma
4. Purdue vs. 13. Akron
6. Saint Mary's vs. 11. Indiana
3. St. John's vs. 14. Towson
7. Kansas vs. 10. Arkansas
2. Alabama vs. 15. Robert Morris
If Alabama hopes to make the Final Four (Where the Crimson Tide would likely take on the No. 1 seeded Duke Blue Devils before facing Florida or Auburn for the National Championship) Alabama would have to get past:
15. Robert Morris
7. Kansas
3. St. John's
1. Houston
Assuming all favorites win their respective games.
