Bryce Young Inks New NIL Deal
Thursday on Instagram, the Heisman trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young announced his new NIL deal with Beats By Dre.
Young now becomes the third athlete to sign with the headphone company joining USC quarterback Caleb Williams and Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
The details of the deal have not been released to the public yet but it is bound to be another big paycheck for the former Mater Dei signal caller. Beats By Dre now joins Logan's Roadhouse, Subway, CashApp, Epic Games, Dollar Shave Club, Nissan, and Dr. Pepper as companies that inked a deal with the future NFL draft prospect.
After sitting behind Mac Jones his freshman year, Young took over last year as the quarterback for the Crimson Tide and never looked back. In his first year of starting, Young passed for 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns, won the Heisman trophy, beat Georgia in the SEC Championship, and made it to the National Championship before coming up short of the ultimate prize.
Even though the season just started, Young already has proved why he is worth all of this NIL money. In the fourth quarter, trailing by one, on the road against the Texas Longhorns, with only 1:29 left on the clock. Starting on his own 25-yard-line, the junior quarterback led the Crimson Tide all the way down to field goal range before Will Reichard hit the game winning field goal to give Alabama the win.
Do not be surprised if Young gets another NIL deal,. Companies see the talent, swagger, and leadership that the AP College Football Player of the Year brings to the Crimson Tide every Saturday.
