Butch Jones Discusses Volunteers at Media Days, Responds to Spurrier Jab

On Tuesday, head coach for the Tennessee Volunteers spoke at SEC Media Days, and almost as soon as he took the podium, he had to make sure to get in a quick reply from a jab by South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier earlier during the day.

Spurrier may have implied in his press conference that Tennessee and Arkansas celebrated their 7-6 seasons, but Jones wanted to make sure everyone knew that he and the Volunteer program were not happy with a seven-win season.

Is he as funny as Spurrier? He isn't quite there yet. However, he seems to have won over the Tennessee fan base, and that is probably more important in the grand scheme of things anyway.
