The Atlanta Braves open its season at Turner Field in Atlanta tonight against the Philadelphia Philies and take the field with a lot of optimism.

With the addition of both Upton brothers - BJ and Justin- the outfield from left to right is one of the strongest in baseball, both offensively and defensively. But as good as this team can be at the plate, there will always be concern about extended cold streaks because of the penchant for strikeouts throughout the lineup.

Las Vegas, like most analysts, predict that the Washington Nationals will win the division. The sportsbooks have set the total number of wins at 87.5 for Atlanta and 92 for Washington. Many baseball fans think the gap might even be a little wider than 4.5 games by the time the playoffs role around in September.

How do you think the 2013 Braves stack up against the rest of the division? We'd like to hear your thoughts on the team.
