Cecil Hurt’s list of Potential Coaching Hires for Alabama Basketball

Cecil Hurt of The Tuscaloosa News joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier to talk coaches after Avery Johnson's departure. Hurt provided a view names that he thinks has the potential to takeover, and also discussed what he looks for in a coach.

"Your hesitant to put too much expectation on anybody in that first year," Hurt told Reier. "while they get that roster situation checked out."

"Rick Barnes's first year was a transition year," Hurt told Reier. "Bruce Pearl from Auburn was a transition year, Will Wade at LSU was a transition year. Nick Saban at Alabama was a transition year."
