Celebrate Local with Townsquare Tuscaloosa and Team 26 Star
Tide 100.9s Ryan Fowler and Alabama softball outfielder and Tuscaloosa native Kat Grill will be in attendance at the fifth-annual Celebrate Local festival presented by The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. CST to 7 p.m. CST at the Tuscaloosa River Market.
"The Game with Ryan Fowler" will be live from the event from 2-7 p.m. CST, alongside Kato, who will be live on 105.1 The Block. a Townsquare Media station, from 11 a.m. CST to 2 p.m. CST.
According to her Twitter account, Grill will be signing autographs from 3-5 p.m. CST at the Spiller Furniture and Mattress booth.
Grill had a successful first season with the Crimson Tide where she started in 31 games, saw 81 at-bats, 24 hits, five runs batted in, drew eight walks, stole three bases, and finished the season with a .296 batting average.
In the field, the Tuscaloosa native had 24 catches (23 putouts, one assisted) and a perfect fielding percentage.
