Youngblood Earns G-League Camp Invite

Three Crimson Tide players in the NBA draft earned an invite to the NBA combine, but Chris Youngblood and Clifford Omoruyi did not. The Tide has five players in this year's NBA draft class.

However, the lack of a combine invite doesn't mean it's the end of the road for Youngblood or Omoruyi. Chris Youngblood will still have the chance to showcase his talents in front of NBA scouts and personnel, with Youngblood getting an invite to the NBA G-League Elite Camp.

Youngblood is among 45 draft-eligible prospects who earned an invite to the G-League Elite Camp. It's set to take place from May 9 to May 11 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

A select number of players who perform well will receive an invite to the NBA combine later in the week, set to take place from May 11-18.

Youngblood played a vital role in Alabama's return to the Elite Eight in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Tuscaloosa native played in 28 games, starting 18 for the Crimson Tide, while averaging 10.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and 38.8 percent from three-point range.

His highest scoring output came on February 25, when Alabama played Mississippi State in Coleman Coliseum. He scored 27 points while shooting 7-13 from the floor and 7-11 from three-point range in Alabama's 111-73 victory.
