Every season, the SEC selects one player from each school in the conference to represent their program and be inducted into the SEC Legends Class. It's a high honor, and last year, former Alabama All-American offensive lineman Barrett Jones was the Crimson Tide's representative for the 2024 SEC Championship.

In 2025, another all-star player for Nick Saban will be inducted, with former Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley being selected to represent the University of Alabama. The 'Weekend of Champions' on Dec. 5 and 6 will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, and the event is highlighted by the annual SEC Legends induction on Friday night. The group will also be recognized before the SEC Championship game on Saturday, December 6.

Mosley was a three-year starter for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide's defense during his 2010-2013 tenure with the Alabama Crimson Tide. He helped lead Alabama to two national championships, starting 51 career games at the Capstone. Mosley was a two-time All-American, earning consensus All-American honors in 2012 and unanimous All-American honors in 2013. Mosley won the Butkus Award, presented annually to the nation's top linebacker, in 2013.

During his final two seasons in Tuscaloosa, he was named a First-Team All-SEC selection, producing 319 career tackles (T-3rd in program history). The Baltimore Ravens selected Mosley with the 17th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
