Alabama seeks to add to its 2026 recruiting class, which currently sits outside the top 50 by multiple sites. The Crimson Tide are making strides in their recruiting efforts, with the Tide landing on 4-star offensive tackle Sam Roseborough's top ten list, as reported by On3's Hayes Fawcett, which includes six SEC schools, including Florida, Georgia, LSU, Texas, and Texas A&M.

Roseborough is a junior at Clearwater High School in Clearwater, Florida. He stands 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds. While he may be slightly undersized to start as an SEC offensive tackle right away, this 4-star recruit possesses incredible athleticism and strength. Roseborough frequently dominates his opponents, consistently creating openings for his running backs to exploit. As the No. 9 offensive tackle in the 2026 class, according to On3, he has the ability to stay in front of any defender coming off the line.

Watch Roseborough's Hudl highlights here.

The Florida native's highlights show that the junior from Clearlake, Florida, is incredibly quick and has the speed of a defensive lineman, with Roseborough primarily blocking defensive ends. When the four-star offensive tackle pulls off the line, he demonstrates his speed and power, which usually results in Roseborough wrecking a linebacker's day.

Alabama first offered the four-star offensive tackle in May 2024; since then, there has been little activity between the two parties, with Roseborough having yet to visit Tuscaloosa since the offer. According to On3, the No.9 Offensive Tackle in the class has only made unofficial trips to in-state Florida and Florida State in April 2024, as well as a trip to Baton Rouge to visit LSU's campus in December 2024.

According to On3's Recruiting Prediction Meter (RPM), Florida and LSU are currently the teams that experts predict will land the talented offensive tackle, with Florida having a 31.3% chance of landing the in-state prospect and LSU having a 27.4% chance of landing the No.16 prospect out of Florida in this class.

Alabama is eager to strengthen its roster with talented players, even after securing the No. 7 offensive tackle in the 2025 class, Jackson Lloyd, from Caramel, California. The team has also welcomed transfer redshirt freshman offensive tackle Arkel Anugwom, who was part of Ball State's 2023 recruiting class. Currently, Alabama has eight freshman offensive linemen on the team, including Anugwom and Lloyd.

With Roseborough's recruitment still in its early stages, I would expect Coach Deboer and his staff to schedule a visit for the 4-star immediately. The Tide is already expected to host a star-studded list of prospects in the 2026 class this summer, including No.4 Edge Trenton Henderson, No.2 Tight end Kaiden Prothro, No.1 Wide Receiver Tristan Keys, and many other top prospects.
