Florida defeated Alabama gymnastics Friday night. Two key Bama gymnasts were out with minor injuries. The Crimson Tide's next meet is against Kentucky Jan. 20.
While #9 Alabama's 30-24 win on the road against #11 Ole Miss on Saturday was nothing more than a bounce back from last week's loss for the Crimson Tide, there's another team that was probably just as happy, if not more happy, with the result in Oxford.

Alabama gymnastics advances to the NCAA National Championship semifinals with a second place finish in the Seattle Regional Finals. The Tide scored a 198.175 which is the second highest score in program history. They had eight scores of 9.950 with seven different gymnasts scoring them. Lilly Hudson scored two 9.950s Saturday night. Alabama gets a couple weeks off from competition before traveling to Ft. Worth, TX for the Championship Semifinals on April 14.
Alabama put together a three-run 9th inning to give the No. 6 Gators a scare but ultimately lost its first game of the 2022 SEC schedule, 6-4, on Friday.
