Adams, a 5-foot-10, 183-pound wide receiver from Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma, signed with the Crimson Tide as a member of Alabama's 2023 recruiting class. The redshirt sophomore originally chose the Crimson Tide over the Oklahoma Sooners, the Arkansas Razorbacks, the LSU Tigers, and the Tennessee Volunteers. He was rated as a three-star wide receiver according to 247 Sports, the No. 61 wide receiver in the class, and the No. 5 player in the state of Oklahoma.

During his tenure with Alabama, Adams saw action in 23 games for the Crimson Tide, including all 15 of Alabama's games during the 2025-26 season. During his career, he hauled in 13 receptions for 176 yards and one touchdown. The lone touchdown of his career came in Alabama's 73-0 victory over Louisiana Monroe. He also served as the Tide's starting punt returner during the 2024 and 2025 seasons, where he returned 30 kicks for 214 yards.
