Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, despite having not even seen some of the 2022 recruits on campus yet, have already gotten a jump start on the 2023 class.

Alabama picked up an important "Crystal Ball" prediction from 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong this week; one that would send the nation's second-ranked running back to Tuscaloosa.

Richard Young, a five star prospect out of Lehigh Acres, FL, is one of the most sought after prospects in the country. Featuring an ideal build for a running back, standing at 5-foot-11, 200 lbs., Young is a player with massive upside that could be a difference maker from day one.

In three seasons at Lehigh Senior High School in Florida, Young has compiled an incredible 3,591 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns and also runs track, posting a 100-meter time of 10.81 and a 200-meter of 22.01.

The Crimson Tide currently has three commitments in the 2023 class in Jahlil Hurley, Elliot Washington and Yhonzae Pierre. Coming off four straight top-3 recruiting classes, Alabama looks to be in play for one more this season.

With an entire senior year left to play, Young has a long time before he makes his official decision, but for now it appears as if that decision may be to suit up for the Crimson Tide.
