DeBoer Provides Injury Updates to Start Tennessee Week
Alabama did not escape Columbia, Missouri, unscathed. The Crimson Tide went into the game with two new players listed as 'out' on the SEC availability report: wide receiver Jaylen Mbakwe and linebacker Cayden Jones.

During the game, Jam Miller and Derek Meadows were both hit in the head, left the game, and did not return. After the game, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said that both Miller and Meadows are dealing with concussions.
On Monday, DeBoer provided injury updates on several of the Tide's injured players.
On Jalen Hale
"Jalen Hale has been sick. That was the reason why he, last minute, got put on the report."
On Jaylen Mbakwe
"(Mbakwe) had a hand injury in practice last week, he'll be back out there practicing, and we'll see kind of as the week goes on, how he goes there. Obviously plays receiver, that affects you a little bit, but there's other things he can do for our football team, and he's in great spirits."
On Jam Miller and Derek Meadows
"Jam and Derek will both be going through their concussion protocol this week."
On Cayden Jones
Cayden Jones had surgery on an ankle injury, and so he'll be down for a little."
No. 6 Alabama will return home next weekend to take on the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers, who defeated Arkansas 34-31 on Saturday.
