Kalen DeBoer Calls on Fans to Bring Big Environment on Saturday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The Crimson Tide went up against not only the Georgia Bulldogs, but also a rowdy crowd in Sanford Stadium last Saturday. Alabama overcame the extra pressure that playing on the road brings to secure the 24-21 victory over Georgia last week.

Now, No. 10 Alabama gets to apply that pressure on No. 16 Vanderbilt, which the Crimson Tide will host this Saturday, October 4th. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was asked on Wednesday during "Hey Coach" how much help that crowd can bring to the team when they take the field on Saturday.
"I've hit on that a couple times with our home games early in the year, and we're asking for it again this week," DeBoer said during "Hey Coach." As I said earlier, it's huge. Our guys feed off that energy, and I noticed it in the Wisconsin game, from start to finish, (the student) section was full, and just feeling the energy coming from that part of the stadium. It's a big deal, so let's have everyone there."
DeBoer mentioned the crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium again during his final word on Wednesday night, asking the 100,000 fans who will be in Bryant-Denny Stadium to bring the energy as the Crimson Tide takes on No. 16 Vanderbilt on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
"This weekend is another big weekend. Each one gets bigger as you go through the season, and the most important game is always the next one. It's week two in the conference schedule, we're at home in Bryant-Denny Stadium, and again, we're asking for the fans to come and be loud. I know that's gonna be the case, I've never seen anything but that, and we're looking forward to a very good Vanderbilt team coming in here and the challenge that lies ahead. Proud of the work we've already put in this week, still got a lot more ahead of us to be at our best on Saturday."
Alabama will take on Vanderbilt this Saturday, October 4, at 2:30 p.m. CT.
