Alabama freshman wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks was seen on an exercise bike during Saturday's media availability. Brooks was wearing a black, non-contact jersey, indicating he was dealing with an injury. When the media arrived on the field, Brooks was wearing a walking boot on his left foot.

A UA spokesperson said on Saturday that Brooks' injury wasn't a long-term concern and was precautionary more than anything, which is a good sign for the talented freshman. However, on Sunday, Brooks was not spotted on the practice field at all, raising questions about his status.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was asked about Brooks' status on Sunday following his absence from practice.

"It won't be anything long-term or anything like that. It'll just be a little bit of recovery here. I don't know if it's day-to-day, but it's not gonna be something that's extended," DeBoer said.

Brooks isn't the only receiver banged up after the first few practices of fall camp, with fellow freshman Derek Meadows wearing a hamstring brace during Saturday's practice.

A UA Spokesperson said that Meadows' brace was also precautionary and nothing to be concerned about long-term.
