Did Jalen Hurts leave Lil Wayne's sports agency over a photo with Donald Trump? One media analyst seems to think so.
Skip Bayless spoke on the matter on his podcast The Skip Bayless Show. While giving his opinion on the situation, he claimed that a reason the two left Young Money Sports might be because of the former president.
"I don't know exactly why Jalen and Nicole left Wayne, I don't," said Bayless. "There has been some speculation that I'm vaguely aware of that it had something, maybe a little something or a lot something, I don't know, but something to do with the picture that was taken of Trump and Wayne when Wayne went to talk to Trump about that $500 billion dollar package that was aimed at creating jobs for the black community that was back in October of 2020."
Lil Wayne posted the photo on social media on October 29, 2020, after his meeting with Trump.
"Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership," tweeted Wayne. "He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done."
Bayless made the comments on his show on April 21, however a recent article by Outkick has brought the topic back up on social media.
Lynn left the agency in 2021 to join Klutch Sports and the former Alabama quarterback left recently.
