Is Dijon Lee in Contention to Start for Alabama?
During spring practice, Alabama true freshman cornerback Dijon Lee was getting reps with the first team defense. Senior Domani Jackson, who started 13 games for Alabama last season, was dealing with an injury. Jackson is still working on a pitch count during the conclusion of fall camp, which has provided numerous opportunities for Lee to continue getting first-team reps.

With how much experience Lee has practicing with the first team and how versatile he is, could he be in line to start for the Crimson Tide as a true freshman against Florida State?
"I think Dijon's had a fantastic camp. Obviously, Domani's [Jackson] been kinda coming back from offseason, where he didn't go through spring, he was very limited in the summertime," Wommack said. "We just tried to kinda get him back the right way and then put him on a pitch count a little bit through fall camp. But he's handled it well.
"He's done a nice job, but it's allowed Dijon in the spring, summer, and fall camp to get tons of reps and reps with the ones. To me, with two very experienced corners that we have on this roster, we feel like Dijon can go right in. Credit to him and the way that he's playing right now. I see him as a starter in our defense. So, really impressive. That's two years in a row, right, we've had a young freshman that Mo Linguist has done a tremendous job of developing that guy into being a starter-level player for us. Excited for Dijon and what that does for our defense."
