Domani Jackson Announces Return to Alabama
The good news continues to pour in for Alabama fans and Kane WOmmack's defense, with Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson announcing he will return to Alabama in 2025.
Jackson started all 13 games for Alabama this season after transferring from USC during the winter 2023 transfer portal period.
During his first season with Alabama, Jackson totaled 52 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two interceptions, one quarterback hurry, and seven pass breakups.
The 6-foot-1, 201-pound cornerback attended Mater Dei High School and is from San Diego, California, where he was rated as a five-star prospect and the No. 15 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class. After spending two seasons in Los Angeles as a member of the USC Trojans, Jackson entered the transfer portal, where he chose Alabama over the Michigan Wolverines.
As a transfer during the 2023 winter transfer portal window, Jackson was rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 43 overall player in the portal.
His impact on Alabama's secondary was vital to the success of Alabama's defense this season. He was one of three players with starting experience heading into the season. He provided leadership and mentored the younger defenders while making game-changing plays, including an interception that sealed Alabama's 27-25 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks.
