President Donald Trump Announces Attendance for Alabama-Georgia Next Weekend
MOBILE, Ala. -- At a rally in Mobile, Alabama, on Thursday night, President Donald Trump announced he will be in attendance next week for Alabama's home matchup with No. 2 Georgia.

"I'll be here again next Saturday to watch a football game between Georgia and Alabama," Trump said at his rally at the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Alabama.
It's far from the first Alabama game the president will attend, with Trump in attendance in 2019 when Alabama faced LSUvand in 2024 when Alabama faced Georgia.
The Crimson Tide is 1-1 with President Trump in attendance at Bryant-Denny Stadium, falling to LSU in 2019, 46-41. The Tide's lone victory came in 2024 against Georgia, when it defeated the Bulldogs 41-34.
This will be the second college football game the President attends this season, with President Trump flying into Knoxville, Tennessee, on Air Force One last weekend to watch No. 1 Texas take on No. 14 Tennessee. The Longhorns defeated the Volunteers 20-17 last weekend, deflecting a last-second Hail Mary from Volunteers' quarterback Faizon Brandon.
According to Theo Fernandez of BamaCentral, the Secret Service met with the UA Police Department on Friday morning to prepare for Trump's arrival next weekend. It will mark the third trip to Tuscaloosa in three years for President Trump, who attended the Crimson Tide's win over Georgia in 2024 and gave the commencement speech at the University of Alabama in 2025.
Before President Trump comes to town, No. 7 Alabama will travel to Starkville, Mississippi, to take on No. 16 Mississippi State on Saturday, October 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CT on ABC.
