Henry chose the Crimson Tide over LSU and Oregon, and recently reclassified from the 2029 to the 2028 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound linebacker said in his commitment post, "With God, all things are possible."

On3 and Rivals rank Henry as a three-star linebacker prospect in the 2028 recruiting class, the No. 654 player in the class, the No. 48 linebacker, and the No. 22 player in Maryland. He plays his high school football at St. Frances Academy, the same high school that Alabama freshman defensive back Jireh Edwards played. While Rivals lists him as a linebacker, 247 Sports lists Henry as a safety.

He picked up an offer from Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide on May 13, 2025. He's now the second commitment for the Crimson Tide in the 2028 recruiting class, joining three-star quarterback Charles Scott Jr.
